Semi Senior Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budgeting.
Salary: Up to £30k
Location: Hitchin, Herts
This role will be Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 and one day working from home, eventually a 4 day week may be considered.
Semi Senior Accountant responsibilities/skills:
- Degree in Accounting/ ACCA or CIMA
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- Preparation of financial accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Bookkeeping duties, preparation of VAT Returns,
- Working knowledge of Sage, Xero, and Iris.
- Any working knowledge of preparation of CT600,
- Self-Assessment Returns or Payroll would be an advantage.
Semi Senior Accountant attributes:
- Full UK Driving License
- Strong previous experience within Finance/ Accounting
- 2 years’ experience in accountancy practice
- Great attention to detail
- Team player
