HR Advisor
My client is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team, you must have strong ER advisory experience.
Salary: Up to £35,000
Location: Colnbrook, Slough
Previous experience managing cases from beginning to end as an HR Advisor in relation to: Advising managers, prepping documents, support manager in ER Meetings. Ideally CIPD level 5 or working towards it.
HR Advisor duties:
- To prepare offer letters and employment contracts for all new starters
- Overseeing the onboarding process for a new starter
- Carry out background screening checks for new starters (references/medical/health)
- To oversee the probation review process
- Giving advice on performance and conduct issues.
- Oversee the recruitment process, acting as a point of contact with agencies, screening CV’s, and supporting managers with interviews
- Manage the offboarding process for leavings, calculating annual leave and writing resignation acknowledgement letters
- Work in line with HR policies and procedures
- To ensure accurate HR records are kept for all employees including full-time, part-time, casual workers and agency staff
- To prepare HR letters
- To attend meetings where necessary to take notes, providing advice and support
- Experience of processing a monthly payroll.
HR Advisor Attributes:
- Proven work experience as HR generalist, with good knowledge of managing employee relations.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Strong commercial awareness to understand the needs of the business.
