Warehouse Shift Manager
My client is looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their team. These roles offer lots of progression and development for the right people. You will lead a busy team and be responsible for the overall operation of the Warehouse.
Salary: Up to £40k
Location: Colnbrook, Slough
Warehouse Shift Manager duties:
- First line management of the Supervisors
- Complete frequent walk rounds/check ins
- Encourage an ethos of continual improvement and development
- Liaise between departments to ensure operation flows continuously
- Monitor levels of equipment and manage shortages quickly .
- Ensure daily priority of work is continuously monitored .
- Demonstrating a positive approach to the company
- Ability to manage workload efficiently
- Meet strict deadlines
- Contribute to documentation for training purposes
- Complete regular 1-2-1
- Complete return-to-work interviews and absent management procedures
- Manage holiday requests
- Monitor departmental staff overtime
- Manage breaches of conduct
