Junior Sales Estimator
My client is looking for a Junior Sales Estimator to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be one who has worked in a client facing role. Your role as a Junior Sales Estimator will predominantly involve taking warm leads and tenders that have been generated through marketing channels and turning them into live projects. A large element of the role will involve making site visits, undertaking surveys (full training given), returning tenders and providing fully costed proposals. Ideal candidate will be relatively local to the office.
Salary: Up to £30k OTE £35-£45K
Location: Deptford, London
Junior Sales Estimator duties:
- Organising and attending site visits to undertake surveys
- Listening to customer requirements and making appropriate recommendations
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Supplying detailed design and fully-costed proposals
- Full involvement in formal bidding or tender processes – creating detailed proposal documents; the details of which will be largely dictated by the prospective client.
- Build relationships with architects, main contractors
- Negotiate pricing, timescales and terms of agreement
- Maintaining close relationships with manufacturers and product suppliers
