Practice Accountant
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Accountant to join our growing accountancy practice.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and will be confident managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. This is a varied role, covering accounts preparation, tax returns, VAT, bookkeeping and general client support. You will work closely with clients and the wider team to deliver accurate and timely accounting services.
Salary: Up to £38k
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Practice Accountant Key Responsibilities include:
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting and taxation.
- Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Experience with corporation tax and personal tax returns.
- Good understanding of VAT.
- Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and client-facing skills.
Practice Accountant Attributes:
- AAT, ACCA, ACA or equivalent qualification/part-qualified status.
- Experience using accounting software.
- Experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
