Our client is looking for a Senior Service Desk Engineer to join their team, ideally you will have previous experience working for an MSP. You will be providing technical support, onsite and remotely, for a wide client base. You will be tasked with installing, configuring and administering server. Previous experience monitoring and troubleshooting system performance, monitoring backups and building and testing hardware would be ideal. The ideal candidate must have good communication skills.


  • Log all service tickets – over the phone, email and service portal
  • Respond appropriately to technical issues raised, through resolution or escalation
  • To install and maintain IT and communications systems
  • Provide efficient customer service
  • Prioritise work and manage workload


  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 & SQL
  • Hyper-V and System Center
  • Virtual Desktops using VMWare and Citrix
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANS & L2 + L3 Routing
  • Azure & AWS Cloud Services
  • Linux operating systems
  • Windows Server 2008 / 2008 R2 / 2012 / 2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019
  • Server hardware including RAID and UPS systems
  • Experience with server virtualization and
