Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

Salary: £30 – 35k

Location: Wembley

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator, their Payroll covers about 5000 people so would suit someone who has experience working on a similar size company. Payroll is all done in-house and doesn’t use any third parties; the ideal person will be one who has previous experience on end to end payroll. Experience in weekly, fortnightly and monthly would be advantageous.

Duties:

  • Supervising the payroll team
  • Managing end to end payroll all in-house
  • Advising on tax and pay laws
  • Managing computer software and systems
  • Checking and auditing payroll to make sure regulations are met
  • Calculating and deducting all statutory requirements
  • Knowledge of Tax, NI, SMP, SPP, SSP, RTI
  • Knowledge of HMRC regulations
  • Pension knowledge
  • Can adapt to relevant payroll system
  • Processing Starters and Leavers
  • Processing forms P45/P46/P6/P9
  • Reversal payments
  • Work to deadlines
  • Deal with any employee, client, payroll queries

Attributes:

  • Qualified or working towards CIPP Qualification
  • Strong previous payroll experience
