Joinery Technical Drawer/Project Manager
My client is looking a Joinery Technical Drawer/Project Manager to join their team.
This job involves creating detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery and furniture, using CAD software and ensuring accuracy according to client specifications and industry standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Salary: up £60k
Location: Iver, Buckinghamshire
Joinery Technical Drawer/Project Manager key responsibilities:
- Drawing Creation – Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for joinery, furniture, and fit-out projects using CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketch up and Cabinet Vision.
- Ensuring all drawings are technically accurate, feasible, and comply
- Accurately interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and client briefs
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of different wood types, materials, and their properties relevant to joinery and furniture construction.
- Collaborating effectively with clients, joiners, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conducting site surveys to gather necessary information for drawing creation and ensuring accurate representation of existing conditions.
- Project Management – managing production schedules, estimating materials, and producing progress reports
