Fabric Engineer
My client is looking for a Fabric engineer to join their team, they are a fast growing, great company to work for.
You will be performing planned and reactive maintenance on a building’s physical structure, such as carpentry, tiling, painting, and plastering in commercial, and industrial settings. Key duties involve carrying out emergency call-outs, completing inspections and testing, and making repairs to restore systems to a safe working order.
Salary: 40k + Van + Fuel Card + Overtime
Location: Hertfordshire/ Bedfordshire
Fabric engineer duties:
- Carry out a wide range of tasks, including carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, glazing, and lock fitting.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, structural issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Reactive and planned maintenance: Respond to urgent repair requests and execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure work adheres to company policies and health and safety regulations, including fire door maintenance and legionella control.
- Maintain records of completed works, communicate with customers and management, and use company systems to track progress.
Fabric engineer qualifications:
- Relevant qualification would be beneficial.
