Electrical Assembly Technician
My client is looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join their team.
This Electrical Assembly Technician role can progress into management and/ or within a specialism for the right person. This role will suit someone who is technically minded and has some knowledge of the Automotive and/ or Telematic industry.
Salary: Up to £32K
Location: Woolwich, London
Electrical Assembly Technician duties:
- Being responsible for technical configuration and testing of electronic hardware products
- Supporting projects
- Supporting customer orders
- Configuration and Technical setup
- Supporting projects
- Product development via bench testing and commissioning systems
- Internal testing for software bugs and hardware faults
- Assisting managers to ensure that services and systems are operational
- Accurately updating and inputting data onto databases and stock control systems
- Providing technical assistance and logging
- Completing support tickets
- Creating wiring diagrams/schematics for engineering projects
- Assembling wiring harnesses
- Scheduling and booking engineering resources for projects
- Testing faulty electronic devices
- Assisting engineering activities both on and off site
- Opportunity for CAD work and training
