CNC Turner
My client is looking for a CNC Turner to work the late Shift (4 on 4 off), this role involves setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components.
Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) – 6PM – 4AM, Monday to Thursday
You will ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
Salary: DOE
Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
CNC Turner duties/ Experience:
- Set, operate, and manage CNC turning machines
- Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain safe working practices
- Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets
- Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
- Where practical, pre-set ready for next job
- Experience setting and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
