Client Accountant
My client is looking for a Client Accountant to join their team, they are a really lovely company, they work hard, but they enjoy themselves too so looking for someone who wants to be part of that.
This role will manage a portfolio of client accounts, handling everything from bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT to year end financials, ensuring compliance. You must have previous experience liaising directly with the client and building client relationships.
Salary: Up to 60k
Location: Canonbury, London
Client Accountant Key Responsibilities
- Oversee client portfolios (sole traders, companies, individuals), act as main contact, and manage service delivery
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare & review year-end accounts
- Management accounts, balance sheets, income statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping
- VAT returns
- Corporation Tax
- GAAP/IFRS.
- Proficient with Accountancy Software’s
- Client Interaction: Build strong relationships, communicate progress, explain tax/accounting issues, and manage expectations.
- Process Improvement: Identify efficiencies, participate in performance reviews, and potentially train junior staff.
Client Accountant Qualifications
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Practice experience
- Strong communicator
