Business Intelligence Analyst
My client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team.
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Colnbrook, Berkshire
This Business Intelligence Analyst role requires someone who is able to roll out reporting and BI solutions to end users. The role is responsible for ensuring high levels of SSRS and Power BI reports and BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing. This position will also require supporting the Master data team.
Business Intelligence Analyst duties/skills:
- Define the current reporting activities for the development of existing and future reporting
- Develop models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert with company goals
- Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures
- Develop strategies for enhancing these processes
- Develop routines and procedures for end-users
- Communicate reporting changes, enhancements, and modifications
- Meet clients to define reporting and BI requirements and goals
- Participate in the integration between BI and Internal platforms
- Design, code, test, and document all new or modified reports and BI systems, applications, and programs
- Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses
- Liaise with client to ensure update programs
- Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system
- Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience developing/managing databases SQL Server 2016+ Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Write and execute SQL queries
- Power BI
- API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST
- C#, Python and or Java
- Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques
