Air Conditioning Engineer – Maintenance ( No weekend work)
My client is looking for an Air conditioning engineer with F-gas qualifications installs, maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems that use F-gas refrigerants. F-gases are fluorinated gases, such as HCFCs, HFCs, and CFCs. They are a nice, well run SME company.
Salary: up to 58k

Air Conditioning Engineer Responsibilities
- Maintain, and service air conditioning systems
- Recover, handle, and supply equipment containing F-gas refrigerants
- Check for leaks in stationary refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of systems including, Split systems, multi-split systems, VRV/VRF systems, Packaged units, AHUs and associated ventilation equipment
- Install new air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications
- Commission newly installed equipment
- Carry out leak detection, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with FGas, Regulations
- Replace compressors, fans, motors, expansion valves, PCB boards and other mechanical/electrical components
- Complete emergency reactive call-outs within agreed response times
- Perform electrical fault-finding associated with HVAC equipment
- Ensure all maintenance records, service sheets and commissioning documentation are completed accurately
- Produce clear reports identifying defects and recommended remedial works
- Liaise professionally with customers, clients and site representatives
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and specialist equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation.
Air Conditioning Engineer Qualifications
- F-gas qualification and certification
- Level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations – Category I
- NVQ Diploma in Installing, Testing and Maintaining Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
